Peptide Testing Labs Compared

Third-party analytical labs test submitted samples and issue a certificate of analysis (COA). Labs differ a lot in what they measure, how they measure it, and whether anyone else can check the report.

This page compares the 11 testing labs and report databases listed in our Check product testing section. It covers only what each provider states on its own website: methods, any ISO/IEC 17025 claim, public report verification, listed prices, available test panels, location and stated clientele. Where a provider's site doesn't state something, we write “not stated”. We don't infer or guess.

At-a-glance comparison

Names, links, locations, pricing and verification status come from our directory data and stay in sync with the Testing Labs page. Scroll sideways on small screens, or see each lab's section below.

How to read a COA and this comparison

  • Purity ≠ identity ≠ quantity. HPLC purity shows what fraction of the detected signal is the main peak. Identity confirmation by mass spectrometry checks the molecular mass. Quantity or potency measures how much material is present. A report only answers the questions it names.
  • Accreditation is scoped. An ISO/IEC 17025 certificate covers the specific methods listed in its scope document. “Accredited lab” doesn't mean every test is accredited. Ask for the scope, or check it with the accrediting body.
  • “Compliant with principles” isn't accreditation. ISO 9001 or GLP “principles” claims are different from ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
  • Verifiability matters. A COA you can look up on the issuing lab's own portal is harder to alter than a PDF passed along by someone else.
  • A test result describes one sample. It doesn't establish that a substance is safe or suitable for human use.

For a step-by-step checklist, read How to Verify a Peptide COA. To look up a report, see our list of public test databases and COA verification portals.

To calculate a peptide's theoretical mass for comparison with mass-spec results, see the sequence analysis tools. For literature on analytical methods, see our research resources.

Methodology

  • Scope: all 11 entries currently published in our Testing Labs section. We list third-party labs, testing services and public report databases, not vendors' in-house testing.
  • Sources: each provider's own website. Where a site blocked automated access (Janoshik), we read its public pages with a text-reader tool. Our own listing data provided the starting points. Accreditation scope documents come from the published certificates and scope supplements.
  • Rules: we report only what each provider states publicly, in its own words where possible. If something isn't on the site, we write “not stated”. We don't contact labs for this page, don't test samples, and don't rate or rank labs.
  • Independence: no paid placements, no affiliate links, no sponsorship. Labs can't pay to be listed or to change their entry.
  • Corrections: prices and services change. If a lab's details have changed, contact us at corrections@peptidetoolshub.com with a link to the lab's own page, and we'll update the entry and its date.
  • Disclaimer: For research and general information only. Not medical advice or dosing guidance. Many peptides are not approved for human use. Talk to a licensed healthcare professional before making any health decision. We don't sell, source or recommend peptides or vendors. See the full disclaimer.
