Primary sources come first: peer-reviewed literature, trial registries and regulator databases.
This section collects primary and authoritative sources. It includes literature indexes (PubMed, PubMed Central, Europe PMC, Cochrane), clinical trial registries (ClinicalTrials.gov, WHO ICTRP, the EU register), regulator databases (Drugs@FDA, EMA), and molecular databases for peptides, proteins and compounds. Most are free and run by public institutions.
We prefer original sources over summaries, and no listing is sponsored. Link status was last checked on 2026-10-16. To analyse a sequence you found in these databases, use the sequence analysis tools. For published purity and identity reports on samples, see third-party testing labs and public test databases.

The National Library of Medicine's database of the current drug labeling that companies submit to the FDA, including prescribing information and Drug Facts. Labels can be searched and downloaded as HTML, PDF or XML.
Note: NLM does not review labels before publishing them, and labels in use may differ from the most recent FDA-approved version.
Visit site ↗app.peptipedia.cl
An academic peptide sequence database from Universidad de Magallanes (Chile) that brings together about 4 million sequences from 76 public sources. It offers activity annotations, BLAST search and machine-learning activity predictions.
Note: Most activity labels are machine-learning predictions, and the data was last updated in March 2024.
